I have spent my professional life working in the international classical music world. I understand the commitment, ambition and complexity involved in bringing exceptional music to audiences, and the people and relationships that make it possible.

Knowing the professional world my clients inhabit as I do, I believe in the value of finding time and space for them to think.

​

I am kind, thoughtful and direct. I listen carefully, ask questions that get to the heart of things, and am comfortable exploring the difficult questions as well as the more obvious ones. 

 

I don't arrive with answers for you. My role is to help you find greater clarity about what matters, what is holding you back and what you want to do next.

I work with people who carry significant responsibility and who value an independent, confidential space in which to think.

Prior to coaching, I worked for around 30 years as an artist manager, agent and executive director for Hazard Chase Ltd and then James Brown Management Ltd. Prior to that I studied music at the University of York. I have served as a school governor and chair of my local parish council.

I am married with 2 sons; I love gardening; I am a singer; I started my career in the arts as a spotlight operator; I prioritise my professional development and I don't mind a semi-colon...
